Generation to Generation
We are the daughters of a very special woman. Irene Austin Younger would have loved this project, and she most certainly loved her girls: Charlotte, Mollianne, Annie, Teri Lynne and Casiday Hope. We are the generations who have followed, but we are not all in direct line. We are not the only women in this line. Charlotte's daughter, Linda, and her girls BobbieJo, Mollianne and Sami are also daughters of Irene. We are scattered across the land, from coastal Georgia to Alabama and Tennesee to Texas and Missouri.
We are mothers and daughters. We are grandmothers, granddaughters, sisters, aunts, cousins and nieces. Four generations of females; strong in our faith, we stand on the shoulders of giants. In this place we want to give honor to the faith that binds us, to share our stories and thoughts, to giggle and just be girls. You are most welcome to come and bide awhile with us here.
About Us ...
Charlotte is our matriarch ... mother of Molli, Bigmama to Teri Lynne, Oma to Annie, and Great-Bigmama to Casiday, Munner to her other granddaughters. You'll love everything she writes ... for even in the written form, she is vibrant and fun. Mollianne is the eldest of Charlotte's daughters. Though life has not always followed the path she expected, Molli is an inspiration to her husband (Rocket Man), her children, her grandsons & everyone who knows her. When Molli shares a snippet from her life, you are sure to find yourself nodding in understanding and chuckling at her expressions. Charlotte Anne, better known as Annie, is the daughter of Mollianne, granddaughter and namesake to Charlotte, cousin and friend to Teri Lynne, and in awe of young Casiday Hope. She leads a busy life, juggling many roles, and constantly struggles to keep her priorities straight. Her memories may be foggy, but her love of her family is crystal clear. Teri Lynne is the third generation represented here. Daugher of Charlotte's younger son and neice to Molli, Teri Lynne is a devoted student and teacher of the Word of God. Her study area is the floor of her living room surrounded by laundry that should be folded, papers that need to be sorted, and a television that never seems to be turned off. Casiday is the youngest contributor to our grand blog ... at nine she possesses a most delightful blend of thoughtful insight and blissful oblivion. Casiday is Teri Lynne's daughter, Molli's great niece, and Charlotte's great-granddaughter. If you like short posts, Casiday's will undoubtedly be your favorite!
